Scholastic Activities

The academic year is divided into 3 semesters.

  • Semester I
  • Semester II and
  • Semester III

The learning of each student is evaluated in each semester by following the Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) mandated by Tamilnadu School Education Department.

Formative assessments are a series of evaluations using tools/techniques conducted with every lesson. Formative Assessment (FA) will include Worksheet / Quiz / Bulletin Board Work / Spelling / Dictation / Practicals / Albums / Group Discussions / Seminars / Power Point Presentations / Completion of Classwork & Homework and any other assessment.

Summative Assessments are held at the end of each semester. Summative Assessment (SA) will be a pen and paper exam conducted thrice a year. The tools and techniques for assessment are according to guidelines provided in the CCE manual. Overall grades will be awarded based on performances in both Formative and Summative Assessments.

Co-Scholastic Activities
